Dear Friends,

It’s a pleasure to invite you all to the 33rd European Workshop on Neonatology, taking place in Septmber 20th-23rd, 2026, in the historic and gastronomic city of Parma, Italy. This workshop will bring together distinguished speakers for a stimulating exchange of ideas and expertise, as well as for personal relations.

The European Workshop on Neonatology (EWON) has promoted the idea of scientific exchange in a warm and friendly atmosphere in exciting places in Europe and neighbouring countries for nearly 35 years. All of you are welcome again, to submit abstracts and present your scientific data which will hopefully promote fruitful scientific discussions across virtually all current topics in neonatology.

Parma is a city full of grace, where you can breath a refined atmosphere. Its center is a masterpiece, with extensive green areas, and small and large treasures from different eras. Parma is also the heart of Italian culinary and it’s the gastronomic Capital of Italy and a part of the Food Valley. In 2015 Parma became the first Italian City to be designated a UNESCO “Creative City for Gastronomy”. It’s also remarkable for the presence of music in the history of this city thanks to the famous Giuseppe Verdi.

To help us finalize the list of the participants and the program, please reply by January 31st, 2026 whether you will be able to attend and send us the title of your talk by July 31st, 2026. Your participation means a great deal to us, and we sincerely hope you will be able to join us.
